The sautoir - the longest and most graceful of all necklace forms - finds its most poetic expression in this E2J Jewelry creation. One hundred and forty-nine centimetres of lustrous cultured pearls cascade from the neckline to the waist, gathering at the centre into a drop where two sculpted shibuichi alloy hands descend in sequence - the upper hand cradling a luminous baroque cultured pearl, the lower reaching downward in an eternal gesture of offering.

The strand is composed of smooth, round cultured pearls - each selected for its lustre and uniformity - strung in a continuous rope of 149 cm. At this length, the sautoir can be worn in multiple configurations: full length for maximum drama, doubled into a two-strand choker and mid-length combination, or knotted at the hip for a more relaxed, bohemian styling. 

The centrepiece of the piece is its drop: a cascade of two shibuichi alloy hand pendants, each 4.2 cm in length, finished in ruthenium and gold plating. The upper hand cups a single baroque cultured pearl in its palm - ts irregular, organic form a beautiful counterpoint to the uniformity of the strand above - and is adorned with diamonds, red sapphires, rhodolites, ruby and demantoid garnet accents. The lower hand reaches downward, open-fingered, as if in the final moment of releasing something precious.
