The Lena Ginarium Chest Casket-Pendant is a deeply carved openwork pendant that doubles as a miniature container -opening to store rings, charms, or other small treasures close to the body. Its amber window glows from within like a lantern, a rose gold bee perches on its face, and a 155 cm oxidised paperclip chain with gold hook-and-ring connectors completes this extraordinary wearable object.

The casket has a long history in decorative arts -a vessel for precious things, carried close and kept secret. Lena Ginarium transforms this tradition into wearable jewellery with the Chest Casket-Pendant: a functional sculptural object that is as much a work of art as it is a practical accessory. 

The pendant body - 40×50mm - is constructed in deeply carved openwork metalwork finished in near-black oxidised dark plating, its surface alive with botanical motifs: leaves, flowers, and organic forms interlaced in a dense relief that rewards close inspection. At the centre, an oval amber cabochon is set like a window into the casket's face, its golden-green transparency revealing a mysterious shadowed interior. 

Perched on the front of the casket is a rose gold bee - exquisitely detailed, its wings outstretched, a tiny emblem of industry and beauty against the dark ground. The casket opens via a discreet closure, revealing a hollow interior sized to hold rings, small charms, or other personal treasures - making this pendant as functional as it is decorative. 

It hangs from a 1550mm oxidised black paperclip chain with a gold textured ring and gold hook connector - architectural, asymmetric, and entirely in keeping with Lena Ginarium's distinctive aesthetic. Wear it as a necklace, a conversation piece, or a private treasury worn against the chest.
