Shibuichi - the ancient Japanese alloy of silver and copper -  has been prized for centuries for its ability to take on the deepest, most complex dark patinas. In the E2Jewelry Serpent & Hand Choker, this extraordinary material becomes the body of a snake: scaled, textured, and alive with surface depth that no conventional metal can replicate. 

The snake winds around the full circumference of the neck as a fitted choker, its scales cast in extraordinary relief - every facet of its body catching the light differently as it curves. The body is interrupted at regular intervals by gold-plated geometric link connectors, each set with a red sapphire, emerald, or rhodolite garnet - flashes of vivid colour against the near-black of the shibuichi, like gemstones scattered across midnight.
